If you enjoy writing, you can use writing to help relieve stress. By writing down your feelings or stressors, you allow yourself to take a step back from the situation. You can admit and accept what cannot change and then make a plan on how to move forward. Another strategy is accepting what cannot change, and this is just an addition to that. If you write it down then you are putting on paper what is going on. That makes it real, but it also gets it out of your head. It is okay to take a break from what is stressing you. You shouldn't have to feel stressed all the time.
